Vaccine Information
SARS-CoV-2 infected people are most likely to be highly infectious a few days before COVID-19 symptoms appear and for the next five days.
If an individual has been exposed to the coronavirus, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends quarantining for 14 days to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to others. This is because COVID-19 symptoms can occur anywhere from 2 to 14 days after contact to the virus, and COVID-19 can spread during that time.
